Wildlife Clubs of Kenya College Centre For Tourism Training and Research January Intake 2022


The college was established in 1999 as a result of the need by many Wildlife Clubs of Kenya (WCK) members in high schools to continue with environmental and wildlife conservation practices and education. It is fully registered with Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) as a public institution.

Applications are invited for the following courses at WCK- CENTRE FOR TOURISM MINING & RESEARCH (CITR) at Lang'ata, Nairobi
1. Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management
2. Diploma in Wildlife and Tourism Management
3. Diploma in Tour Guiding Management
4. Diploma in Catering and Accommodation Operations Management Entry Requirements: C- [Minus] in KCSE and /or a Distinction or Credit in a Certificate course from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
5. Certificate in Catering and Accommodation(CCA)
6. Certificate in Wildlife Conservation and Tour Guiding(CWCTG)
7. Craft Certificate in Tour Guiding and Travel Operations(CTGTO)
8. Craft Certificate in Food and Beverage Production and Service(CFBPS)
9. Certificate in Catering Operations(CCO) Entry requirements D+ (Plus) or equivalent in KCSE
10. Basic Certification Course for Practicing Guides
11. Short Courses: Certification Course for Practicing Guides. Bushcraft and Survival Techniques. Professional Techniques in Tour Guiding (KPSGA): Basic Cake Making Decoration and Pastry Making: Basic Cookery. Foreign Languages: French. German and Spanish.
